Chiara Maritato (Ph.D. University of Turin) is MSCA SoE Researcher at the Department of Cultures, Politics and Society of the University of Turin. Her research interests include the controversial notion of “transit” migration and border management, transnational religious actors, religion and diaspora communities. Susanna Pagiotti

Susanna Pagiotti (Ph.D. University of Perugia) is a post-doctoral fellow at the Department of Political Science of the University of Perugia. Her main scientific interests concern the intersection between media and religion, political communication and social policies. Among her publications there are articles in national and international peer-reviewed journals such as Comunicazione Politica, International Journal of Strategic Communication, Journal of Religion in Europe, Journal of Risk Research and Problemi dell’Informazione.
