Alessandra Russo works as an Associate Professor of International Relations and Security Studies at the University of Trento. She held postdoctoral research positions in Italy, France and Belgium. She is the co-editor of the Open Access academic journal Inter-disciplinary Political Studies and research associate of the Observatory on Central Asian and the Caspian. In 2022 she has been invited to join the Italian Network of Female Experts. 

Sorina Cristina Soare
Università di Firenze 

Sorina Cristina Soare is a lecturer of Comparative Politics at the University of Florence. She holds a PhD in political science from the Université libre de Bruxelles and has previously studied political science at the University of Bucharest. Her research interests include Central and Eastern European politics, populism, political parties, illiberal democracy and transnational participation.
